Review: New LT Menu at Chili's

Flavors so good, you’ll want to have it all by yourself

Indiranagar has become one hot-shot food destination offering Italian to American, Chinese to Indian and what not. In today’s fast moving time, where a new restaurant is opening up every other day, it has allowed foodies with more options to drool upon. On the other hand, it has become very difficult to find any loyal customers or to drive the customers regular at any restaurant.

Regardless of all the hurdles and competitions, Chili’s is one such place in Indiranagar which is always thriving with customers of all ages. I personally love the place, the vibe, the food and their ever smiling staff who is always on their toes. And this is the reason I am not surprised to see customers coming back to this place again and again.

After my first visit to Chili’s, I was pretty impressed with their food and enthusiasm to serve their customers. People do ask me for suggestions when they want to have some nice time with their family, friends or colleagues and Chili’s is one such place I wouldn’t think much before recommending to someone.

This was my sixth visit to Chili’s and this time the occasion was to experience their new limited time menu which boasts of incredible burgers.

First thing first, we started with ‘Spiced Panko Onion Rings’. This is a ‘return’ dish on the menu. By return I mean, this used to be on the menu of Chili’s earlier but they took it off due to some regular negative feedback. And now, it’s back on the menu and I am glad it is. This is an absolute stunner which will leave you asking for more.

The crispy panko breaded onion rings are dusted with southwestern spices and served with house-made ranch dressing. A must try if you are visiting anytime soon.

Next we tried was ‘White Spinach Queso’. People say looks are deceiving but not always, this taste equally good as it looks. White queso & chopped spinach is topped with shredded Monterey Jack cheese, house-made pico de gallo, fresh guacamole, queso fresco & chopped cilantro. And to take a notch better, it is served with warm tostada chips & fresh salsa. If you like the cheesy delight, this one’s for you.

And as we say that the best is saved for the last, here it was ‘Sweet & Smoky Lamb Burger’. It is topped with cheddar cheese, Applewood smoked lamb, spiced panko rings, fresh lettuce and Chili’s signature sauce, served with a side of mango-infused BBQ sauce.

This lamb burger is certainly not to be missed. The flavors infused in it are so good, you’ll want to have it all by yourself and definitely ask for more.

Verdict: 4/5
