Celebrity Chef Vivek Singh lights up
Bengaluru with ‘The Cinnamon Club’ signatures
Chef Vivek Singh is
a very popular name in the culinary world and is considered as one of industry’s
finest, continuing to make appearances on cookery shows such as Saturday
Kitchen, Masterchef and Market Kitchen and a regular face at food festival
demos such as Taste of London and BBC Good Food Show. Chef Vivek liberated
Indian food from its straitjacket of tradition and crafted a brilliant marriage
between Indian spicing and western culinary styles.
It was indeed a
week full of culinary delights at Riwaz, the Indian restaurant at Ritz Carlton,
one of India’s finest 5 star hotels. Chef Vivek Singh was at Ritz for long five
days doing what he does best – blowing away city’s food aficionados with his
signature dishes.
Last week, I was
invited to Ritz Carlton for a tasting session by none other than Chef Vivek. It
was an absolute delight to sit right in front of the open kitchen watching Chef
Vivek and his team passionately engrossed in bringing out the culinary jewels
on our plates one after the other.
I usually write a
detailed review of the food with positives and what went wrong but this experience
was class apart. Everything served on the table for three hours was nothing but
a true masterpiece.
Treat your eyes
with some of the highlights from the evening that blowed everyone away.
