Godrej rolls out two new varieties in their Frozen Food Segment

Godrej Tyson Foods (a JV between Godrej Agrovet and Tyson Foods) offers great tasting, safe and affordable protein products through household favourites like Real Good Chicken and Yummiez. They cater to India’s expanding food service industry, quick service restaurants and the universe of modern retailers, with innovative food solutions, at world-class standards, customised to local tastes.

Their processing facilities ensure that all the products go through stringent quality systems and checks. They have plants in Bangalore and Mumbai with completely integrated breeding and hatchery operations. Their Bangalore plant also has the added capability to produce cold cuts and breaded products.

Recently, Godrej Yummiez introduced two new products - Macaroni Cheese Nuggets and Jalapeno Cheese Bites. With the launch of these delectable delights, Godrej Yummiez expands its scrumptious range of cheese bites like Cheese Corn Nuggets, Cheese Fingers and Pizza Pockets.

Jalapeno Cheese Bites is a treat for people who love the hot, peppery and sour combination of Jalapeno in their food. The freshly minced jalapeno with melted cheese in every bite is bound to linger on your taste buds. Whereas in the nuggets, the Classic combination of Macaroni and Cheese is irresistible and a perfect choice for every occasion worth celebrating!

Last week, I was invited by Godrej to be part of an evening with renowned culinary specialist, Chef Michael Swamy at Cafe Mangii. He was there to rustle up two exciting high tea snacks with the newly launched Godrej Yummiez Vegetarian Products.

 Chef Michael Swamy

As expected, Chef Swamy did not disappoint and neither did the newly launched products. While Swamy displayed his culinary skills presenting some delectable dishes that can be paired with tea or coffee; people couldn’t stop munching the fried Macaroni Cheese Nuggets and Jalapeno Cheese Bites.

This was the first time I tasted Godrej’s frozen food and was surprised by the taste and quality of the food. People who are more conscious with the oil can opt to pan fry and other who likes more crunch on their plate can deep fry it. Also, it is very light on the pockets when compared to the quantity they provide.

With the weather being so beautiful here in Bangalore, I can’t think of any combination other than a cup of hot tea and these lip-smacking Macaroni nuggets or Jalapeno bites.
